Rayman Legends Challenge Mode for Wii U this April
The entire online Challenge Mode Rayman Legends coming this April for the Wii U and its free.
I got the Wii U on launch and I was so excited to get this and I'm still bummed on Ubisoft's decision. To make up for it Ubisoft said they would be releasing another Rayman Legends demo exclusively for the Wii U. But it looks like thats not gonna happen. Instead of that, Ubisoft will be releasing the entire online challenge mode of Rayman Legends exclusively for the Wii U.
Challenges are updated weekly and daily with its own unique leaderboard for players to beat and compete. The challenges take place in 5 different settings, the Deadly Pit, the Land of the Dead, the Infernal Tower, the Dojo, and a Wii U exclusive area, the Dungeon. The challenges can be talked along or with up to 5 players. Players can also play against other player's ghosts to challenge in an effort for supreme dominance. Players will be able to look back at all their previous feats with a History feature in the game. But it won't be easy as even the dev team for Rayman Legends will be competing against you.
What do you g1s think?
Do you think this will make up for what Ubisoft did until the game is released in September?

Destroy the dev team will be my objective

I still want to know how their original designs for the game are even going to work on other consoles. Even the Xbox can't support 5 people locally at once.

That sounds awesome. Loved the demo and I may as well download this one.

While this is better than just a normal demo, it's still a shitty decision from Ubisoft to NOT release the finished Wii U version.
And if it's true that it's only because of a Microsoft policy that they won't let you release a multiplatform game on Xbox if they get it later, then quite frankly that's a shady and shitty policy and Microsoft needs "gtfo".

I'm not saying I wouldn't prefer the full game, but at least I'm not mad anymore. In fact, I think it's really cool to see the devs making the best out of it. It also helps that no human being could possibly stay mad at Ancel. I mean, look at him.
Say what you will, but just for that, I'll re-pre-order(that's a thing) Legends.

yeah... no... no... it is nice though, but i never replace a bad thing with a good thing. now there is this bad thing and this good thing sitting right next to it.

Oh my god you guys. Are you all really that stupid? The best way to send a message isn't to not buy it at all, that just hurts these guys who are putting so much work into it. Best way to send a message is to boycott the PS3 and 360 versions. Real talk. I don't own a WiiU and i was planning on waiting for the inevitable PS3 port. But now (being a poor college student) im literally giving dessert up for about a year so that i'll have the extra money to buy a WiiU so i can play this game.

You know what? He's right. As much frustration as this caused me, the dev. team and even Rayman's creator are just as pissed. Why hurt them when we need to use our dollars to send the message to Ubisoft by ONLY buying this game for the Wii U. Not sure what boycotting their other games would do, but I haven't gotten any of their other Wii U titles just due to the lack of interest.

You have become my hero!

Well it's better than nothing. It doesn't make up for it, but it does help soften the blow.
