Rayman Legends is real and coming to Wii U

Originally leaked by a French gaming site and later confirmed by Ubisoft, Rayman Legends has an “internal video" of the Rayman Origins sequel. It shows off the philosophy behind the design, as well as outlining a number of Wii U specific features. Ubisoft has made it very clear though, this video “in NO way represents the final game, the final console or their features”.

I suppose when they state they, it is specifically to mitigate all the Wii U specific functions that this video implies the game will support. Like the tablet controller being used to interact with all the other players within a game. Or the development of Near Field Communication figurines (like Skylanders), that will be used to augment you gaming experience. They even imply that Ezio Auditore of Assassin’s Creed could be one of those figurines (SOLD!). Here is that video.

Looks like the Wii U is all about the merchandising. They want you to buy shelves full of stupid little toys to press against the giant controller.

$60 for the game, $10 for each of the 3 dolls you need per game... then you get a new game once a month. That's what you're looking at and those dolls aren't even DLC and you can bet they don't come free with the $60 game. Nintendo loves that obsessive collectible stuff,.. look at pokemon lol

It all comes down to the fact that it's something you need to buy to unlock something that is already in the game... and that's not cool.
