Redbox offering up free day-long game rentals this week.

2/26/12 5:50pm

Redbox has begun its Game Week promotion in which the first day of select game rentals will have its price reduced to the low low price of free! But keep in mind that it will cost $2 for each additional day, which is actually pretty sweet within itself when you think about it.

To take advantage of this offer, simply go to the Red Box website and reserve the copy of the game you want. It's not the grandest selection mind you, but there are some good games on the list and the price is right. So no complaints here.

The offer ends on March 1.

Gamefly still is a better deal. $2 a day x30 days is $60, which at that point you would have just been better off buying a new game.

only if you want the game. If you try the rental and hate it you bring it back no loss, if you buy it and find this you can return it for less then half what you paid and get credit. I am not arguing against gamefly I am just saying currently only 3ds games are worth getting as there trade values usually end up being fair

Weak game selection. I either have those games or they don't interest me.

Actually, considering their selection is so small, their games are usually already rented out. So technically, it's a weak deal for nothing.
