Robin Williams inspired genie NPC might entertain the troops in WoW's upcoming expansion

Last week, Blizzard confirmed that in response to a fan petition (signed by over 10,000 players), a tribute to late actor, comedian, and avid gamer (and Warcraft fan) Robin Williams would be added to World of Warcraft's upcoming expansion, Warlords of Draenor. Said tribute may have been uncovered last night and if the discovery is accurate, it'll certainly be a fitting tribute to the comedy legend.

As they were digging through some Warlords data, the clever sleuths at WoW database WoWhead claim to have found a character model of an NPC named Robin the Entertainer.

As you can see, this character is clearly inspired by William's iconic role as the kind-hearted, fast-talking, and pop culture-referencing Genie in Disney's Aladdin. If this picture is 100 percent legit, the heroes of Draenor will certainly never have another friend like him.

Even in his darkest days, Robin Williams dedicated his life to entertaining and bringing joy to millions of people the world over. So again, if this picture is accurate, I say good on Blizzard for memorializing him in such a fitting way in a game he loved so much.
