[Rumor] Clock Tower is being remade and is coming to Wii U
According to an Italian gaming website, a developer called Artemica has revealed that they are working on a remake of the cult-classic Clock Tower. Clock Tower: The First Fear was originally released on the SNES in 1995, and it was a 2D survival horror game. Remothered is a re-imaging of that classic, bound for the Nintendo Wii U and PC. At least according to the developer's Facebook page.
We have not heard an official announcement from Nintendo or Capcom and while I cannot confirm Capcom holds the license, they were the last ones to publish a Clock Tower game with Clock Tower 3 for the PS2. Also, Remothered will be feature 3D models, which is a departure from the original games style. I would expect that we should here something about this soon if it is truly bound for Wii U. Until then, you can check the official site when it goes live or follow Remothered on Facebook.

YES! Despite Remothered owning one of the worst horror game names of all time, I would by the Wii U just for this! If it's true then: OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH! If it IS just a rumor: aaaw...

EDIT: Checking the head developer's YT page ( http://www.youtube.com/user/chrisdarril ), this game has ceased being a fan game and is now a stand-alone IP "inspired" by the likes of Clock Tower and Haunting Ground

I'm usually not convinced to buy a console just to play a remake/port, but this rumor being confirmed as true would make my interest in the Wii-U increase that much more.

Yo Clock Tower for the Wii U? that'd be fuckin' A! The original Clock Tower for SFC and PS1, is the only Clock Tower game that never officially made it overseas. I hope if this is true, that it is also localized...
