The details behind ZeniMax Online’s upcoming MMO have hit the Internet and the results are rather startling. It will be a fully voiced third-person MMORPG, but combat won’t be the same. They are instead trying to bridge the traditional Elder Scrolls combat (which isn’t great) with MMO combat (even worse).
The game has been in development for nearly FIVE years, and while the 250 man team is sure to bring some interesting ideas to the genre, I expect to be clicking things to death while using a hotbar for le3t sk1lls. There are plenty of crazy details on NeoGAF right now, but I found these pictures from All Games Beta to be much more interesting.
A mix of concept art and some presumed screenshots, notice how the art style seems cartoony? Yeah kind of has a Kingdoms of Amular vibe, which is not a good sign for 38 Studios who wants to make that franchise an MMO as well. Stay tuned as more details surface and we get a chance to maybe see it first hand at E3.

Elder Scrolls combat may not be "great" But it anything but boring, I love fighting in Elder scrolls I enjoy the feel that my swing carry weight, that my aim will take effect, that my spells will actually hurt!
This combat thou flawed in many ways still prove that Skill > Gear. To bad this game will sadly be using the set in stone MMO Dice system. Oh well mark another dream ruined.
