[Rumor] Half Life 2 Episode 3 official concept art leaked

So a huge amount of Valve related news has going around in last several days. Meet the Pyro being released, the Pyromania update for Team Fortress 2, the official Source Film maker being released for closed beta and news of Half Life 2 Episode 3 art work being leaked.
The concept art for Episode 3 was leaked at the valvetime.net forums via an anonymous user. The concept art was confirmed to be done by Valve artist Andrea Wicklund via Lambdagenartion.com, which also was uploaded on Andrea’s Picasa page back in 2008.
The art shows the cold arctic environment that Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance have to survive through and what Gordon, Alyx and possibly new characters would have looked liked for Episode 3. It’s unfortunate seeing all of this great artwork for Episode 3 since the chances of Episode 3 ever getting a release date are highly unlikely. Gabe Newell has previously said that he has moved on from episodic games. Also, Valve’s company project manager Eric Johnson said, “Portal 2 will probably be Valve’s last game with an isolated single-player experience,” when being interviewed by Geoff Keighley.
With all of the artwork that has been leaked, it still leaves us with questions that have been asked before. What are the chances of Half Life 3 ever being released? Will the concept ideas from the artwork will be in Half Life 3? Is Half Life 3 going to be a co-op multiplayer game? The only one who knows is Valve. We just have to wait in the long term of Valve time.

Alyx wearing Elis jacket. Nice touch. Hope it stays in. Im excited. I thiink Left 4 Dead and portal have been just been ways for improving the engine, and getting Friendly AI, ability for puzzles, and Coop as good as they can possibly be for Half Life 3. With all the hype n all. It has to be.
Most likely coop characters would be Alyx, Barney and Sheperd, but who knows. Who cares about the wait? Half life and half life 2 are still amazing. Especially in Sven Coop and synergy.

Hmmmm.... it's really interesting that Valve never really hypes up HL3 all that much. They just leave it up to the fans. Solid move, Valve!

Hype is common place when speaking about sequels or additions to games, but one thing I genuinely want to know is, why is this game treated like the second coming of Jesus? I mean it, I really want to know why. (trolls save your breath, I'm not even going to read your stupid shit)
