According to a Interview with Hideo Kojima in Famitsu it will get Trophies this Ausust.
Andriasang has been reporting today that in an interview with Famitsu, Hideo Kojima has revealed that a re-release of Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming to Japan and that this version may include Trophies. It is also reported that any current owners of the game will be able to download a patch for the trophies.
People have been asking for Trophies in this game for a very long time (since it came out just after Trophies were introduced) so why has it taken them so long to announce this?
My feelings on this is that it would be cool if true, but I kinda think this is another one of those lost in translation interviews because it's been 4 years since MGS4.
In the same interview Kojima has announced they holding an event in Japan on August 30th to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the series and that something will be announced there.
So what do the g1s think if this story proves true?
