[Rumor] MGS5 to “launch Summer 2013 at the earliest”
After a motion capture session in Japan, Eric Bossick sat down for an interview with Silent Haven about his work with Konami and the Tokyo heat. While his most recent project was Silent Hill 4, the actor kind of spilled the beans on a currently unannounced Metal Gear project. During the interview he mentioned his “past motion capture session was for upcoming metal gear game”.
When questioned a little further, he revealed it wasn’t Metal Gear Rising either. He was “working on a future metal gear, not to be released until next year summer at the earliest, if not later than that”. He elaborates on how most of the “very secretive” work with Konami and how he isn’t voice acting that much anymore because the market in Tokyo is “drying up”. I wonder if that might have something to do with Eric running his mouth a bit too much regarding “secret” projects.
Continue speculating while we wait to hear back from Konami.

I think they might pull a good kojima on us, and release a metal gear game, and annouce it at the last minute that its not MGS5 but a MGS vita game. Still Peace Walker and Portable Op's were amazing games so I wouldn't complain. Still im excited to see what they'll do next, hopefully the find a way to incorperate some Peace Walker mechanics in there, but I feel like the options for MSF will be a portable only metal gear thing. Still, great things to come I hope.

I feel like Metal Gear has hit the roof with it's narrative. All the important events in it's saga have been experienced. Maybe it's time to create a different story for a brand new Snake to partake on?

were probably not going to be playing as "solid snake" since his story is supposed to be over. We might be playing as "The Boss" or "Big Boss" again or if kojima wants to be rebel MGS5 will be about "Liquid Snake" but only time will tell.

Damn, we just may be getting MGS5 a lot earlier than I hoped for. Awesome.
Can't wait to see every ask Snake why he's young again only for him to reply with "Nanomachines".
