[Rumor] New Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale character revealed?
A new character may have accidentally been revealed. Ico's Yorda may have been ousted as character number seven.
Anticipation for the Smash Bros-styled Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale continues to grow as fans eagerly await more information pertaining to the game’s roster. However, clever Internet users may have found clues pointing toward a seventh character.
NeoGAF forums user Arukado posted an image comparing an artist’s monitor from the initial leak of Playstation All-Stars and a still image from the 2001 Playstation 2 game Ico. Everything appears to be business as usual for an artist until the right side of the monitor is considered. Though the image is small, it certainly does look like the still image from Ico and may be proof that Yorda is the 7th character.
Despite compelling evidence, the inclusion of Yorda in Playstation All-Stars is nothing more than a rumor at the given moment. It could be possible that the image of Yorda was being viewed by the artist for inspiration and ideas, or it could merely be wishful thinking from an artist who would like to include a character but never got the okay. Again, these are all theories and in no way confirmed.
Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will release for the Playstation 3 sometime in the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year.

Remember there are characters in the stages as well, chances are it's the castle from Ico and she's in the background being attacked by something sinister like Patapon.

I'd doubt it, Yorda isn't an especially gameplay engaging character which would make me expect her to be a rostered character. Wander or Ico would be better candidates; as for the picture, maybe it's concept art for a background character (in an environment but with little to no level of engagement with the actual fighters); I also think I saw something similar with the Patapon characters as they were in the background but not on the battleground.

Maybe she's a stage hazard.
Think about it. If she latches onto you, you become less effective, and have to worry about people hitting her as well as hitting you. You also have to protect her from the shadow beasts.
On the flipside, her magic lets you manipulate the stage.
