Assassin’s Creed III has only been in stores for a little over a month and rumors about the next possible installment have already begun to surface. For instance, a mysterious Ubisoft survery that suggested a new AC (possibly AC4) with a co-op component was in development, appeared a couple of weeks ago. Today, a new rumor is suggesting the next entry in the series will take place in Brazil.
Apparently, Ubisoft Brazil managing director Bertrand Chaverot told someone at Techtudo of this new setting during an interview, which GameSpot
was able to translate.
Since Ubisoft’s head office has yet to comment on the subject, these rumors are all we have to go on as far as leads go. However, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if a new Assassin’s Creed game was in the works. As far as the game possibly being set in Brazil, I think it’s a nice location to change things up a bit. If both of these are true, the only remaining questions are “What's the time period?” and "Whose the assassin?"
