[Rumor] Nintendo Direct may feature GameCube games on Wii U
Yes, there us a rumor from NintendoLife that Nintendo may reveal GameCube games are coming to Wii U. We've heard Nintendo state they were starting to work on Virtual Console games for Wii U, but in the source code for the Nintendo Direct site, NeoGAF noticed there were line items for "Virtual Console", "GameCube games" and something called "Pokemon mini".
Since Nintendo is insistent on you heading to their site for Nintendo Direct, I do not have any embed code this time. Here is the link for the North American feed which should be starting soon. I'm hoping for some Bayonetta 2 action, release dates for Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, and maybe something new? Let me know what you're looking forward to in the comments.

This wouldn't surprise me. Also, I hope that Eternal Darkness would pop up as well.

I would buy a WiiU to play Tales of Symphonia again. Or you could, you know, port it to the 3DS. That'd work too.

Thing is most people do not have a 32gb hard drive. :( its worth the money of buying a 32gb system if you haven't already got a wiiU.
Just how are most people who didn't get a chance to play Fzero GX or gamecube version of twilight princess are going to play the virtual console ports if they have the (I think it was) 2 or 4 GB wiiU?
Strongly recomend they get round to putting gamecube games on the WiiU Discs for a £20 price tag.
For america I will say $20 or $25 because of the rates are different over there.
Me, my family and my friends are craveing mad to play Zelda: Four Sword Adventures in Multiplayer.

Those people should purchase a 2 TB external harddisk.
In fact, even IF you have 32 GB, you should get a 2TB external harddisk. Well, maybe not 2 TB, that's probably too much. But at least 500 GB is enough for all your games.

Pokemon Mini was a handheld console that had only pokemon based games on it. And it wasn't announced.

Positive? WiiU Virtual Console announced. Negative? No GameCube support yet.
