[Rumor] Project X Zone localization considered, new 16 minute trailer released

9/20/12 10:00am
tl;dr

A rumor came out of the localization page for Project X Zone on Facebook about Namco wanting to release this game in the west depending on sales in Japan.

A rumor came out from the Facebook page from the Project X Zone localization page. It says that Namco wants to make it for the states, but it depends on the sales of the game in Japan. If it does get here though, no characters will be cut out.

This is just a rumor of course. The bad thing is that it has nothing to stand on sadly. All it stems from is someone repeating stuff that was supposedly asked to Namco.

In other news a new trailer for Project X Zone was released and looks incredible.

Would update the blog but can't so here's some news. Harda, the guy who makes Tekken, has talked more about Project X Zone's localization.

Hope we could keep the jappanese voice actors if this ever gets localized.

Hopefully this does well in Japan so we can get it localized and even though part of me is upset that sonic isn't in the game I'm more proud he isn't because it actually shows that SEGA actually has more franchises.

Rumors are just that: rumors. No point getting hyped just yet.

Want to surprise the gaming community? Release this game.

Want to REALLY surprise the gaming community? Release Super Robot Wars W or Super Robot Wars Z Hakai-Hen.

No chance in hell due to anime licensing issues. That's why the only SRW games out in the states are OG

Yeah, that's kinda the reason why I threw that name out there, but in all seriousness, I'm sure news of an official English release of the..."non-Original Generation" SRW games would create quite a reaction. Almost makes me wonder what would have to be done to pull it off...

I remember playing Endless Frontier. Never did finish that game; I'm not even sure I still have it. :(

Guys, there IS a game very similar to this that is out in the states. It's called Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Robot_Taisen_OG_Saga:_Endless_Frontier ) It's a pretty decent RPG, has lots of hilarious dialogue and a combat system that this game is based on. I would check it out if you can find a copy somewhere
