[Rumor] Wii U release date and price could be revealed in September

Why was Nintendo's E3 2012 press conference so despised? Maybe the lack of Zelda or Metroid, for one. Or it could be the fact that instead of an awesome new Retro studios game we got crap Nintendo Land with fireworks. Well for many it was very simple, the lack of a release date and price.
Thankfully those details are set to be shown on September 13th during a Nintendo press event in New York.
Whilst it isn't confirmed, it is extremely likely. The event is being hosted by Reggie Fils-Aimes, the president of Nintendo of America. More still, both the launch date and pricing details for the Wii and 3DS were revealed in Reggie held press events in New York. Fingers crossed.

Again, anybody who went in expecting Zelda was setting themselves up for dissapointment so that isn't Nintendo's fault. But wether way I can excuse the fact that they havn't shed any light on this topic.

This is a joke post. Nintendo already announced a week or so ago that they'd tell us the release date and price in a Nintendo Direct this September. Also, I'm not sure if despised is the right word for the conference. That's just hateful. One could be "disappointed".

How can you call this a joke post. I am merely spreading word of when these much anticipated details and therefore proving a service. If its definitely the case then great, but that doesn't give you a right to bitch about someone not knowing so.

I thought this stuff was already cleared up? Some time in November for 300 bucks? Were those just rumors, because if it's not going to be 300 bucks, then I'm getting a 3DS for Christmas instead...

Think they are going with a bundled route for the system's price. Maybe $300 for just the system and Nintendo Land and then it goes up by $50 for every bundle like one including the Pro Controller, etc.

Why all the hate for Nintendo Land? It looks like a very fun & well made party game. I hope it gets bundled with the Wii-U like Wii Sports was with the Wii.

That looks to be the case. Nintendo said that Nintendo Land was essentially the new wii sports.
