The Saturday Strips Vol.46

Posted on July 21, 2012 - 2:00pm by Ryan Conway

Welcome g1s to another edition of The Saturday Strips! This week, Gabe contemplates becoming a “shadow dad” when his son enters a Pokemon Card Game tournament. Critical Miss takes a comical jab at “anonymous sources.” PvP teaches us how not to fall victim to the dreaded stench of Comic Con. brentalfloss finds himself in a time paradox. Sonic can’t swim … but not because of the reason you’re probably thinking. One female warrior is not pleased about her armor. Samus finds herself in a deliciously dangerous situation. Heavy isn’t too satisfied with his sandvich. One cosplayer takes her hobby to weird new hights. Mario tries something different. Space Penguin fights for his life and Corey is shocked when she sees just how much ScrewAttack has changed since her departure in the latest MLS.

In other webcomics news, the Penny Arcade Kickstarter is well past funded. Elisa "LeeLee" Scaldaferri recent drew her first episode of Extra Credits as an official team member and Scott R. Kurtz is developing a new animated webseries based on Mappy … YAY!

As far as other cool stuff I found on the Internet this week goes, I dug Egoraptor’s new Avengers cartoon, Yahtzee’s review of The Walking Dead, the debut of Dorkly’s new series Pokemon: Rusty, MovieBob’s (AKA The Game OverThinker) look back at Batman and Robin and Nick’s VGV of The Adventures of Batman and Robin.
