I think the final character won't be a DC hero or villain and they'll do something like they did in MK with Freddy

Looking forward to the game but not sure about a season pass, especially after seeing the Borderlands 2 season pass. If this one means (eventually) getting all the pre-order bonuses, then I might be interested. After paying $60 for MK plus the character bundle and skins bundle, I said I would never pre-order another fighting game. The only reason I made an exception here is to get the fight stick. And since that come with the GameStop pre-order bonuses, it should keep me out of trouble long enough for DLC to be reviewed. Martian Manhunter would be cool though.

*groan* Is this game even out yet? I always hate it when they announce DLC before a game is released. If they spent development time working on these new characters, why not just add them to the game? Dx I like the way Bethesda does things. They wait until after their fans have had a chance to play their game, get a good idea on what else they want to see from the product, then create DLC aimed to meet what the fans want to pay money for.

I hate to say it because I really enjoy the system, but so fare there is no word on any DLC coming to the Wii U... Which sucks becaue this is one of the few big multi platform games out on the Wii U.

It is hard to make a balanced fighter. In brainstorm meetings, guys are throwing out character and power ideas left and right. As development goes on, it becomes clear what characters the team is going to focus on, and what characters will lay on the cutting room floor. In the days before DLC, we would have a) never seen those characters, or b) had to what for the new Super Hyper Alpha edition after the company had some time to generate sales from the original game, and time to finish and balance the code from the original idea. But we now live in a time of pre-orders and DLC. NRS knows how much it is going to be bringing in the first day (roughly), and feels confident that it can announce the studio will start work on DLC characters. Bet $5 these were originally cut for balancing and budget, but can now be added back in through a little elbow grease and love from the community (you purchasing the DLC).

Lobo seems likely. I don't know about Martian Manhunter, they already have Superman, Shazam, and Black Adam so why another Superman archetype? If you're going to use a Superman character with telekinesis then just put in Superboy.

I'd like to see Larfleeze, Gorilla Grodd, and King Shark.
