Sega confirms HD ports of Sonic Adventure 2

The cheers of Sonic fans made a rather impressive “Boom” at Comic Con earlier today, as Sega officially confirmed HD Xbox 360 and PS3 ports of Sonic Adventure 2.
The game’s release (or should I say re-release?) date has not been revealed at this time. However, we do know that it’s XBLA and PSN launch will occur sometime this fall.

This is excellent news. I loved the enhancements that were made to the Xbox Live Arcade version of Sonic Adventure, which included enhanced resolution, achievements, leaderboards, and the removal of glitches present in the Nintendo GameCube version. I'll definitely be purchasing this upcoming enhanced port.
