According to an interview with Toys 'n' Playthings Magazine, Sega's European head of brand licensing Sissel Henno said the company plans to release "several" digital Sonic games. But more importantly, Sega is targeting a new "boxed" Sonic game for 2013. Henno said...

"We will have several new digital [Sonic] titles launching as well as a new boxed game."
However, gamers shouldn't be anticipating a game similar the Sonic Generations. Producer at Sonic Team Takashi Lizuka stated in an interview last year with Game, that the anniversary format won't be making a return saying it was a "one-off event the celebrate Sonic's anniversary"
The next "boxed" Sonic game would have to be Sega's kart racer, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, which is due out November 16, but other then that, Sega has yet to officially announce anything. So g1s what do you think? Are waiting to see what Sonic can dish out this time? Or could you care less whether or not Sonic appears in 2013? Let me know, below, in the comments!
