SGC Kickstarter Ends on Friday!!!

8/21/12 1:20pm

Last month we launched our SGC Kickstarter to hopefully bring back the greatest party/convention for gamers in the world - SGC.  We've had a great response so far and moving into the final week over $50,000 has been contributed to our $100,000 goal.   I said during the previous 12 hour marathon that if we were at $50,000 going into the final week I think we have a realistic chance of making this happen.  With that said, we know that some folks are procrastinators and wanted to let you know that if you were going to contribute to the Kickstarter this is definitely the time to do so.

I also wanted to remind everyone that to finish the Kickstarter we'll have 48 straight hours of live streaming coming at you right here on ScrewAttack starting this Thursday at 12:01am and running through 11:59pm on Friday night (when the Kickstarter officially ends).  The first 24 hours of the marathon will be done by the ScrewAttack staff.  Here's the schedule:

Thursday

12:01am - 4am - Sam/Bryan
4am - 8am - Sam/Ben
8am - Noon - Ben/Sean
Noon - 4pm - Nick/Chad
4pm - 8pm - Chad/Jared
8pm - Midnight - Drake/Lauren

The final 24 will be all me all the time. It's the Craig-a-thon.  Here's the schedule:

Friday

12:01am - 11:59pm - Craig

Fancy, right?  I'm EXTREMELY excited and hopeful about the possibilities of helping SGC return.  SGC is so much bigger than "a ScrewAttack thing" so I encourage you to get yourself and other communities involved.  I honestly believe we can make this happen.

Let's have a great week!  If you'd like to contibute to the SGC Kickstarter you can do so here.
