Shovel Knight's kickstarter comes to an end with over $300,000 raised
"Most of you don’t even know us personally, but just know that you made it possible for us to realize our dreams. Thank you,” That’s what Shovel Knight’s recent Kickstarter update read, as the more then successful indie project finished with 14,749 backers and a total of $311,502 raised.
More than quadrupling its original goal of $75,000, Shovel Knight will feature a physical box, a 4-player battle mode, a boss-battle-only mode and more when the game launches for Wii U, 3DS, PC, MAC, and Linux.
However, despite the Kickstarter coming to a close, you can still support the indie-sensation by donating through PayPal until April 30, in addition to getting the game green lit on Steam Green Light.
So g1s what do you think? Did you, or do you plan on, digging up some money some money for Shovel Knight? Or did you know that developer, Yacht Games, would more than surpass their goal the second you saw the Kickstarter page? Let me know in the comment section down below!
