Silent Hill: Downpour developer might not make it out alive
Word around the Internet points to Silent Hill: Downpour and Rush 'n Attack: Ex Patriot developer Vatra Games could be closing its doors soon. Eurogamer has a source which has been corroborated by Vatra’s parent company Kuju. The Czech developer is being evaluated, but Kuju assures us that “no decisions have yet been made”. Here is more from Kuju
Established as a spin-off of 2K Czech, Vatra Games hasn’t had the success they’d probably hoped for with either of those releases. The metacritic scores when averaged come out to a whopping 58… It was also rumored that they were developing a character action game, but that has been canceled. Hopefully they will get one more chance to redeem themselves.
This is the right website for anyone who really wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much, its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic that has been written about for a long time. Great stuff, just great! hot asians
Constant and very noticeable frame rate drop, significantly less scary atmosphere, and not too impressive of a narrative
Shame too, since Downpour was actually really freaking good. It really didn't have as many issues as people made it out to have.
Combat is what you'd expect from a freaking silent hill game, and the screen tearing didn't happen that often.
This sounds like a case of a studio that didn't have strong enough internal leadership
Considering how bad Downpour is, this is no surprise to me
