Silent Hill: Downpour developer might not make it out alive

Word around the Internet points to Silent Hill: Downpour and Rush 'n Attack: Ex Patriot developer Vatra Games could be closing its doors soon. Eurogamer has a source which has been corroborated by Vatra’s parent company Kuju. The Czech developer is being evaluated, but Kuju assures us that “no decisions have yet been made”. Here is more from Kuju

"The new management team at Kuju have been conducting a strategic review of all aspects of the business… As part of this process, the on-going business activities of the Vatra studio are currently under review. However, at this stage, no decisions have yet been made."

Established as a spin-off of 2K Czech, Vatra Games hasn’t had the success they’d probably hoped for with either of those releases. The metacritic scores when averaged come out to a whopping 58… It was also rumored that they were developing a character action game, but that has been canceled. Hopefully they will get one more chance to redeem themselves.
