Skyrim update: framerate issues and reversing dragons
Skyrim's 1.2 update landed on PS3 yesterday, but some players report that things still aren't going smoothly. It's reported that the PS3's framerate issues are still happening; there's also reports that shouts are no longer working and dragons are flying backwards. Wait, what?
Joystiq reports that other more frustrating bugs, such as the game being unable to recognize magic resistance, are also affecting players.
The update is anticipated for Xbox and PC sometime today, but no word yet from Bethesda on the patch's patchy performance.

I just find it hilarious that the supposed Game of the Year is having so many bugs and they just keep adding more.

As game breaking as all those bugs sound, THEY ALSO SEEM LIKE FUN.
They'll probably fix this by the time I get the game, though. :(

It's a good thing I have the 360 version, but that doesn't matter because I'm still playing Skyward Sword (even though Jared has already beaten it). Thanks November for giving me too many games to purchase.

The resistances one is actually a huge game-breaking bug. It basically means you can't be resistant to any magic in the game. People who were crusing through the game against low-level mages are now dying in seconds. I've been keeping an eye on the Bethesda forums and people are going nuts on there. Shame really as I've got the game on my shelf and am afraid it's too borked to consider playing just yet!

PS3 always seem to get the worst of it from Bethesda

You got that right. They cant ever seem to get it right the first hundred times.

Bethesda has a history of this (Fallout 3 I belive had issues, as did Brink. And they also published New Vegas, which had bugs a lot... but that was likely more Obsidian) so, not too shocking... although dragons flying backwards sounds more like a Good Bad Bug to me, haha
