Sly Cooper is getting a movie as the Facebook page, YouTube channel and teaser trailer go live

Another PlayStation franchise is officially making its leap to the silver screen with Sly Cooper "breaking into theaters in 2016". The announcement comes from the film's official Facebook page, alongside some promo assets and the reveal of their official YouTube channel.

The studios behind the film include Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, who've hired Kevin Munroe to write and direct the feature film. Sly Cooper is billed as being a comedic heist filmed, where Sly and his friends will need to stop an evil metallic owl from stealing "an ancient book holding The Cooper Clan’s family secrets" i.e. the Thievius Raccoonus.

The film will be entirely CG, which I guess will work for the Sly Cooper Universe? I only worry what will happen when Carmelita Fox comes into the picture... The MPAA might have to bump this film to a PG-13. Here's the first trailer.
