Sony confirms a Last of Us demo is inbound
Fans who are clambering to get their hands on Naughty Dog's upcoming post-apocalyptic survival game, The Last of Us, will be able to do so via a demo accessible through the upcoming God of War: Ascension, which will be available in North America on March 12.
However, God of War: Ascension owners won't be able to access the demo right away, as the game's main screen will provide certain steps for gamers to take once the demo is ready to be released. As for what the demo will include, Naughty Dog said they will release more details on a later date through the PlayStation Blog.

This does hurt a bit. I mean, what about the rest of us who don't plan to get God of War? I'm a fan of the franchise and all but this just doesn't sit right. You shouldn't have to buy one game just to test run another *le-sigh* I'm really excited about The Last of Us but I think I can await the full release ^_^

So essentially, it's a demo that you have to pay for.
