Sony making sure PS4s will be available in store on day one

If you’re finding it hard to pick between the PS4 and Xbox One for this coming console generation and can’t pre-order either, you’ll likely find it easier to obtain the former of the two. Or at least that's what Sony’s Jack Tretton recently revealed to FOX.

During the 7-minute interview, Tretton discussed how Sony intends on having the PlayStation 4 available in-store on day one, which is an especially tough task considering the amount of hype surrounding the console in addition to it’s success on pre-order numbers alone.

“We want to make sure people can buy a PS4 on November 15 and through the holidays. So, we’re holding back some inventory to make sure people will be able to buy one. We can pre-sell on every one we can manufacture, and the good news is production yields have been phenomenal.”

The interview, which can be watched in full HERE, goes on to discuss the inevitable console war, along with Tretton mentioning multiple times how the PlayStation 4 will be the “biggest launch in history.”

But what do you think g1s? Are you leaning even more towards Sony, knowing your chances of getting their console on day 1 is even greater? Or are you just going to give the console’s some time before you make a decision? Let me know in the comments below!
