Sony to release God of War: Ascension demo late next month. Multiplayer beta open to all PSN users for the rest of the long weekend.

Sony has announced through the PlayStation Blog that God of War fans can expect to see a demo for the highly anticipated prequel God of War: Ascension on PSN a few weeks before the game’s big launch on March 12.
While we don’t know too much about the demo itself, Santa Monica Studio community strategist Aaron Kaufman said the demo will be available for download sometime in late February and unlike the current beta, it will be focused on the single-player campaign.
Considering the campaign hasn’t been shown off since last year’s E3 (well, besides a recent 30-second teaser), I can imagine that fans are getting themselves hyped up for this new demo.

hope this brings better players online Im going 4 and 1 every game hell last night I went 9 and 0. Those worried about the Multiplayer don't worry its the best online brawler out there that I know of. Better than Anarchy Reigns imo. Im stuck on buying this or MGRR

My internet is awful but for the 1 min I had a game going I felt the same, nobody was dodging/parrying/using their abilities.

C'mon, God of war always was about SP fun! What is this of Multiplayer beta, like it's some annual shooter... please don't destroy this amazing series... :(

Adding a feature doesn't ruin a product. Its not like you need MP to enjoy SP, and its not like SP will suffer from neglect (I imagine).
