I don't get it!
  • The KFC meal is a link back to the start of this comic, as well as the running KFC/Popcorn Chicken "gag" in the series. The outrage it causes is obviously due to the average customers to KFC being somewhat lower class than a Were-Toff...AND THEREFORE EVIL.

  • The thing with the POV shot in the bag is...well it's a reference to a horror film, but I can't remember which one...so I guess it isn't really a reference as such. It's supposed to link in with the overall theme of horror spoofage that this Issue has. If you can name a horror film which does this, do tell me!

  • The conversation between the two Were-Plebs is a reference back to Issues #2 and #3 of Space Penguin, both of which are directly connected. In Issue #2 : Stop the Moon, I want to get off!, Space Penguin punched Earth's moon into oblivion after the Lizard Gimps brought it to life, and following this in Issue #3 : Oh No! The President is a Bitch!, he accidentally hit the White House self-destruct button whilst rescuing the President. It all sounds so stupid when you recap it!

  • The design of the two Were-Plebs is based on two types of what one would call a "Lower Class Citizen" one, the older more traditional farmer type with his cap and somewhat commanding stature, the other a more modern take of the kind of masked rioter who would take part in the "Occupy" movement. Both of them are tattered and torn, as all poor people are...m'yes.

  • Cockfosters is a suburb in North London that I think would make an excellent swear-word, so now it is. SPACE PENGUIN COMMANDS IT.

The Cutting Room Floor.
  • Originally, Pages 4-6 were to have more shots of the normal Were-Toffs rather than just silhouetted crowds, but due to the daunting task of drawing out the judgement chamber and the fact that we'd already had the Were-Toff reveal on Page 3 (As well as numerous material prior to the comic's release) meant I decided to make my life easier, and the production of the comic quicker by focusing on the King, Space Penguin and Jimupi. They'll be in it properly later on though, that's for sure.

  • The first conversation between the Were-Toff King and Space Penguin was going to be longer but I decided to save a lot of it for later in the comic, I also felt inclined to reveal the twist (Were-Plebs) sooner rather than later into the issue to allow for more time to play with the concept.

  • The pre-reveal conversation between Space Penguin and the Were-Plebs was going to be longer, but I wanted to get the reveal on Page 6, seeing as it was the last Page to be posted before the full issue (Read on for details of that).

Another 2 pages released, and I do hope you enjoyed them. Now...it's fair to say that when comparing the speed of releases between 1, 2, 3 and 4...you'll have noticed that 4 has taken a long time to come together and still isn't finished. Why? Well, it's my fault really. When I first announced Were-Toffs I'd planned it out as an episodic release due to the ambitious plot and my more busy schedule (On account of being at Uni rather than doing fuck all). The problem is that when you release things like that, the flow that got the previous issues completed quickly is gone, because you feel that you can take a break each time you post a new Page rather than moving straight onto the next. Toss in the fact that this is a far more time-consuming Issue with more characters, locations, action and (hopefully) better visuals than previous Issues, and you've got yourself one long-ass project. So, I'd like to apologize on my behalf for taking so fucking long with Issue #4. I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I really do enjoy making this for you guys, and I feel like I've let you down somewhat despite the clear overreaction. So sorry for that...now, here's how I'm going to make things better!

It's clear the episodic releases aren't working, but I'm determined to finish this comic, and I will do just that! But that means returning to what got Issues #1-3 out and on the site with gaps of about a month and a half each, and finishing the rest of Were-Toffs in one bulk go before then releasing it as it always should have been one, single Issue. Yes, that will most likely mean a yet another resonable wait between Page 6 and the rest, but at least you know that when the next ones come, you'll be getting the finished product and not just a couple pages. With this return to full comic postings, I will be looking for another Proof Reader, who that will be and how I will determine it remains to be seen, so watch this space...if you want...I guess.

Okay, so with that out of the way, back to the usual bizzyness of grovelling at you feet to support Space Penguin! I don't like to ask people to share my works, but if you like the series, and want to see more then you really do need to spread it around! I love making the comics, but they're becoming more and more time consuming as they continue, and it's fair to say that Space Penguin isn't what you'd call the most popular thing in the world. The feedback is always overwhelming and I love you all for it, but the views have been dwindling recently, again presumably due to the episodic releases so it's probably my fault...but it's still a little disappointing to put so much effort into something only for it to perform below your aspirations. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting a billion views on this thing, but the previous release has still not yet passed the 600 views mark despite being featured and released for almost 5 months. So...y'know, if you like the Comic, spread it around on Twitter or Facebook, even Google+ if you use that shit, let ScrewAttack know about it if you think it deserves a feature and most importantly, leave me a comment down below giving me your honest feedback on what is easily becoming my biggest ScrewAttack project ever by far (As each Issue always is).

Want to help some more? Head on over to my Tumblr and like/reblog if you have an account, and pop on over to my deviantArt account (Which is new since my last SP post) and favourite/comment on it there! You'll also find some misc arts on both of those that I only post on ScrewAttack in bulk installments, and my new web-comic Playing with Yourself, which will soon make its proper debut on ScrewAttack but you can get a sneeky peeky on Tumblr and dA. Again, this isn't a demand per ce, it's merely a request to anyone who likes Space Penguin to spread the word and show me, like you always have with your glowing feedback and wonderful comments that this is a project worth undertaking. There are plans for a 5th (And possibly final) Issue, but I'll need to know the want is there before I start what will again be the biggest project I've undertaken.

Okey-dokey. Hope you enjoyed, let me know what you think in the comments below, and I'll see you in a little while for the final, finished...mess that will most likely be Space Penguin #4 : Planet of the Were-Toffs!

Later gators!
