Splinter Cell Blacklist gets pushed back to August 2013
Recently, the publisher behind the upcoming installment to the Splinter Cell series, Ubisoft, announced that fans eager to jump into the role of Sam Fisher will have to wait until summer, as Splinter Cell: Blacklist was originally planned to release this Spring, but instead will be available on August 20, 2013.
This news comes from the game's latest trailer which shows off a mixture of gameplay and story elements, as well as a brutal integration. However, the trailer also confirms that pre-ordering the game will snag you some extra content. But unfortunately for Wii U owners, Blacklist doesn't look to be sneaking onto Nintendo latest console this summer, as the trailer only confirms the game for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Take a look for yourself!
Ubisoft also released Blacklist's official box art too...
What do you think, g1s? Will you pick up Sam Fisher's latest adventure? Or does it look like too much action for a Splinter Cell game, which is known for its focus on stealth? Leave your thoughts in a comment below!
