[Spoilers] Two new Mass Effect 3 squad mates leaked

The two new squad mates are... EDI... yes I am not joking, the robot AI will be getting a new female body. Hmmm... I wonder if you can a sex with her... moving on! The second teammate is a Prothean who were thought to be extinct, which looks like a collector and was hinted at in ME2.
I am excited that we get new characters, but I really want to see Thane as a playable character. We haven't seen a playable Drell character in the story mode of ME3, so Thane should be a playable character. Just saying...

I'd be very interested in finding out how any protheans managed to live this long without being killed or converted. The only option to the ones on Ilos was to enter cryogenic stasis, and even then one by one they were disconnected as the facility lost power. Also, apparently the collectors are just protheans with big-head mode turned on.
Except, oh wait, I won't be buying ME3 because Origin. Oh well.
