Square announces Final Fantasy X remake for PS3 and Vita!
The launch titles weren’t the only Vita games discussed at TGS last night, as there were a few others and one that is perhaps the biggest shocker of the bunch, is a HD remake of the PS2 classic Final Fantasy X!
Square Enix revealed that the Final Fantasy X is getting a new-age facelift, which will be released on both the PS Vita and the PS3.
Will it be a direct port? Will it offer new content? We don’t know the answers to these questions yet, but Square did say that development of this remake is well underway.
Many Final Fantasy fans are bound to be excited for this release and if it’s as good as past remakes (like say, Final Fantasy IV on the DS), they shouldn’t be disappointed.
I wonder if anyone will be asking for a Final Fantasy X-2 remake? You know, without the sarcasm?

Fuck you Square, why not keep on track and give us remakes of V,VI,VII,VIII,IX in that order, I would seriously pay my kidney for a remake of Final Fantasy VI and VIII.

Square Enix needs to stop being retarded, and start listening to the fans, they need to remake the most obvious best FF game out there, that's right, Final Fantasy 13~ With updated graphics, and music, however they need to keep the combat system, as that was the best in series, 1 character to control is the best option for an RPG. Feel like exploring a beautiful world, check out towns, poke at random NPC's? Well forget about that, you're on the run for 80% of the game, on an easily accessible one way path, best game ever!

They are "remastering" this game first because it is clearly much easier to remaster since its a ps2 games.
I prefer FFX over FVII any day but thats just me.

I agree with you man. Final Fantasy 10 had a much better story and you can connect to the characters a lot more and the battle system was excellent. I cannot wait for this HD remake, this is my favorite game of all time, and that's when it was on the PS2, now when it comes to PS3, i might just die of happiness. :P
