Square Enix reveals Final Fantasy: All the Bravest for iOS via New Zealand app store
So Square Enix’s big Final Fantasy reveal is apparently another iOS game and this one appears to be the ultimate cash in. It will feature characters, enemies, and music from the entire Final Fantasy series and uses the popular Active Time Battle system. The game has you jumping through stages and dragging “your finger over the character to attack”, with as many as 40 characters in the party! You can even “touch multiple characters in quick succession to experience exhilarating and fast-paced battle."
The trick is there will be a in-game shop offering 35 “premium” characters for a couple bucks each and that isn’t even the worst part. The premium character is randomly awarded with each purchase, instead of letting you pick which character you’d like. The game itself is around $4, but it won’t be available in North America until tomorrow. This information comes from the New Zealand app store already making it available on iOS, so the official announcement has yet to be made.
