Steam forum gets FknOwned
A group of hackers called FknOwned apparently felt like they were not getting enough out of their Steam games by cheating. No, they wanted to take it to the next level and start breaking down the platform itself. For what evil purpose would cause such a Hacker group do this? Why marketing of course!
They hacked the Steam User Forum to insert an ad back to their own site, promising "general discussion sections, hacking tutorials and tools, porn, free giveaways and much more." Rather than let someone advertise without permission, Valve has chosen to take the forums down completely. We will let you know when they come back up.

Talk about sh!tty journalism work. 1. It's a 0, fkn0wned 2. It's a community, not a "hacking group" 3. How about actually getting a reliable source? If you had done you're journalism correctly you would have found out that the administration of the "hacking group" (sarcasm) deny such accusations and the boards were even offline for a couple of hours to prevent unwanted traffic and attention

if you going to hack forums on a downloadable service, don't hack steam, hack origin
