Sunday Smash: 3D Land, bad intentions, and new Pokemon?
Nope, Jigglypuff's part of the original 12 Smashers. Plus she's also relevant to the current Gen. now that she's part-Fairy type.
no, Charizard should be by itself. Blaziken should be in this game, if not on its own, then as Red's pokemon (if they wont make Red fight)
They wont add random mega Pokemon to the Pokemon Trainer. If anything, Charizard will be the only the only Mega Pokemon. Also, the original starters are TOO ICONIC to replace with random Pokemon.
It's too small and the background/skybox of the image is from Battlefield.
Given the sheer level of detail, I figured it was an attack. Not to mention its yellow. I thought the KO indicator was red cause that's the I color I remember seeing in Brawl. But thanks for pointing it out and an edit has been made. Also, thanks for being polite.
Here's what's most likely gonna happen, Mewtwo will get put back in the game with his Mega forms, either as final smash or alternate play forms. Lucario probably wont be back, but if he does return thats fine. I pray Jigglypuff gets the ax, i really do pray. Pikachu comes back of course, and probably Pokemon Trainer with Mega Pokemon (probably Mega Blaziken, Mega Scizor and Mega Garchomp. Admit it, that would be insanly epic)
Pokemon Trainer in Brawl was a disappointment. I say let Red fight his own battles this time around, with pokemon assisting him as Smash attacks and Final Smash. He'd be similar to Yoshi and DeDeDe. except he uses pokeballs to capture his opponents, then he can can throw em around for damage, or even throw em off stage for a Potential kill.
Im refering to Pangoro as a random pokemon. and I am not saying Jigglypuff is important. in fact, its not, and I hope its done away with in this game, cause it sucks. but when the original Smash game came out Jigglypuff was featured in the anime as, like you said, a running gag.
Actually, the yellow flash in the Toon Link photo is what happens to any character that gets hit with an attack that might result in a KO. The color is dependent on what player landed the attack, and designates that said player will get the point if the flying opponent does get KOed. I think it might be distracting during the first few matches, but I'm sure I'll get used to it over time.
Edit: So apparently I should have looked under the Toon Link photo before posting my comment, since someone else already pointed this out. Oh well.
Maybe is just a statue for Poke Floats 2.
That would be pretty neat but it would be awesome to keep it as Pokemon Trainer like in Brawl.
I'm not against Jigglypuff if anyting. She was chosen because of two reasons. 1. She was going to be the mascot Pokemon for the series, but instead Pikachu ended up being the face of Pokemon and 2. Meowth was going to be in the original Smash Bros. on the N64 because he was secondary to Pikachu and Pikachu's rival, but due to rendering issues with the N64 they decided on Jigglypuff instead because she was easy to render and also because of the No. 1 reason I listed. plus she is a for sure thing to come out in this Smash game because she is a veteran since the first game, anyone that doesn't think she will be in the game is a damn fool. I was hoping for Pangoro because he would fit well with the game.
How is Xerneas a random Pokemon when it's the mascot of it's own game? Not only that but you make seem like Jigglypuff has been important in game canon when it never was, while in the anime it was a running gag at best that has long been put to rest.
I would say make Charizard its own character, give it the Final Smash Mega Charizard, then have the Pokemon Trainer ACTUALLY FIGHT, not jsut stand in the background like some pussy mook while his pokemon are fighting.
highly highly doubtful. if anything they'd grab one fo the starters, or turn Mewtwo into Mega Mewtwo. they wont take some random Pokemon and make it playable. and before you say it, Jigglypuff isnt random, it was a recurring character in the original series when the first game came out.
probably a poke-ball
I hope for a playable Pokemon they can get Pangoro as a playable Pokemon to represent Gen VI.
I sure hope that Xerneas is just a Pokeball or Assist Trophy thing.
Pretty sure Xerneas is just a pokemon summoned from a ball, I don't see how they could make it playable.
