Techland seems to have something called Dead Stop in development
A trademark Techland has filed for something called Dead Stop has recently appeared online and it’s not quite what you’re probably expecting.
With a title like that, you’d likely figure the trademark would point to a Dead Island sequel. However, the Dead Stop trademark is actually related something involving "entertainment services and providing an online game via an application for mobile phones and other electronic apparatus." So it’s likely Dead Stop is either a mobile spin-off game set in the Dead Island world, or maybe an app related to the next console entry in the series Dead Island: Riptide.
Without any official word from the developers at Techland, all we can do is guess at what this trademark could potentially become but my money is on an app that’ll be Riptide’s version of the GPS app which supported the original game...or it'll be a mobile game.
But that’s my guess. What’s yours?

But will it be as racist as Dead Island and The Cartel.

Mobile platforms need more zombie games. I'd be very interested if this turns out to be a full game.

I think the entire industry should have less zombie games. They have become less scary than dog turds.
