Tekken 3D Release Date & New Info
A bunch of news hit the web today regarding Namco Bandai's upcoming 3DS Fighter Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, which will come bundled with a 3D version of the movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance.
Famitsu revealed that the game will hit Japanese store shelves on Feb 16th 2012, an international release date has unfortunately not been given as of yet. But if you pick the game up next year, you'll be able to play as a the young version of Heihachi Mishima, first introduced in the Arcade version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Also, some info on the touch-screen functionality has been revealed. You'll be able to assign moves from a command list to 4 on-screen buttons to make your juggle-comboing life a bit easier and it's possible to assign 4 more commands to the face buttons which can then be accessed by holding L or R and pressing either A,B,X or Y; so all in all, you'll have 8 pre-programmable buttons at your disposal.
