Timesplitters HD Collection Possible

Ever since Free Radical was picked up by Crytek and renamed Crytek UK, I was losing hope that Timesplitters would ever see another release. While voices in the company have expressed interest in making a new game, they seem to be having a hard time justifying it for buisiness. But now it seems we have a chance to bring Timesplitters back to the main market!

Cevat Yerli, the President of Crytek, has shown an interest in making an HD collection and had this to say:

"There’s a very hardcore market that is very verbal about it. I would love to see this, and if the fan base approves a further petition. They’re trying to call 300,000 voices, I think it’s at two or three thousand right now. If they could get the petition together I would be very happy to put in front of decision makers in the company, the key stakeholders, and say “Look here. This is how it is, let’s make it now.""

I signed this thing myself last night, and it had about 27,000 signatures. I looked it up again today and it has about 36,600 so it looks like it starting to gain momentum since its begining to make the rounds on various gaming websites.

Unilke some petitions that seem symbolic, this one sounds like it could do some good! If you've ever played Timesplitters and want to see it make a comeback, I think you owe it to yourself to sign this petition!

I signed. I didn't like the second and don't think I ever played the third, but the first Timesplitters game was one of the best multiplayer experiences in games. People deserve to get to play it again.
