Yesterday, the folks at Ubisoft revealed on the publisher’s Facebook page that they have been reading through the fan feedback over the recent delay of Rayman Legends (which couldn’t have been very pleasant). They also took the opportunity to apologize for the delay and as a token of said apology, they are planning to release a new Legends demo exclusively on the Wii U eShop.
"Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms. We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game. We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more."
Ubisoft, I’d like to think your intentions are good with this apology but this is not the way to go about it. This is just going to feel like a tease to most of the Wii U owners (if the comments under the apology are any indication) and it's just going put the development team through yet another
intense period of crunch time.
*Sigh* I hope the game still does well despite this whole debacle.
