A modder has claimed to have found files for Resident Evil 6 DLC, on the disk. The DLC includes a new difficulty titled No Hope, 2 multiplayer map packs, 4 multiplayer modes, and an Ada co-op campaign. However, No Hope is the only one on the disk while the other ones are "partially on disk".
In response Capcom has stated
"We still have unannounced DLC for RE6 that will be revealed in the coming months and while virtually all such content will not be on the disc there will be one piece of content, that for technical reasons, requires the use of a combination of newly downloaded data and data that is included on the retail game disc"
Back in May, Capcom claimed they would be "re-evaluating" how they would handle DLC, but clearly they saw nothing wrong with on-disk DLC. As much as this annoys me to no end did we really expect different? Even if they weren't on disk I would be pissed at this DLC since a new difficulty should not cost me money! And I can hear the argument "but it's only 1 thing".
How many times do we hear "just 1 more time, I can stop whenever I want to". To me, this is one of the things killing the integrity of the industry. But what do you g1's think? Is this justified and is Capcom getting "better" with DLC, or do you see this as a soulless money grab. Let me know!

An ingenious masterpiece, Corals at Keppel Bay rises like an ascending symphony of chords, with its soaring towers and low-rise villa-styled apartment blocks. The alternating heights and double curvature of the towers create a unique interplay of changing light planes and reflecting angles, presenting a spectacular sight at every turn. corals @ keppel bay

There's a difference between cutting content for time (or budget) constraints, and purposefully charging you twice for the same thing. What you first said is the former, what Capcom does is the latter. Athilda

They should have stated this right away, but it does make up for it for a big part.
