Uncharted 3 Fortune Hunters' Club for savings
Like almost any game with an online component these days, Uncharted 3 will be giving us the gift of savings with the newly announced Season Pass. The "Fortune Hunters' Club" from Sony will cost $24.99 and will save users about $20.00. It will provide its members seven packs of DLC free and a XMB theme.
Naughty Dog has already mentioned they have no plans to provide any single-player DLC, so it is a safe assumption that these packs will contain maps exclusively for online multiplayer. Right now, the breakdown for the packs seems to be four map packs and three character skin packs. Sony has not confirmed whether any of those map packs will be co-op verse competitive multiplayer. In addition to the Season Pass, Uncharted 3 will have an Online Pass, so used buyers beware.
The Fortune Hunters' Club is available for purchase today on PSN and Uncharted 3 will be out November 1st. If you are in the DFW area be sure to join Jared and I this Thursday for the Uncharted 3 AMC Experience.

I love the Uncharted MP, but I don't know if I like it that much. I'll have to think about this before purchasing it.

At $45 they should just sell the multiplayer as its own separate standalone disc. Put more resources into Uncharteds single player or just lower the price for those who don't really care. I'm probably not going to bother too much with the multiplayer since everyone in the US has a one month handicap and the whole thing will be unfair and unbalanced from the get go.

I'm going to get this game.... But since I don't really plan on playing the multi-player that much I'm probably not going to get this. Though if anyone is going to play the multi-player then this is a good deal, you should pick it up.

I loved the Uncharted 3 multiplayer in the beta, and I'm getting Uncharted 3 for about €15 cheaper than the release price anyway, so I'll get this

I suppose these discount passes are a good idea, but I'm glad there won't be any single player DLC. That's saved me some money!

That's so much money for some maps....I'm really only getting this for the single player; I was tempted to try the multiplayer and I will still try it; but no way I'm paying for that. Fair enough for people who love the multiplayer but that comes up to quite a lot.
