When THQ revealed that Tomonobu Itagaki’s newest IP Devil’s Third would not be released under the THQ brand, someone somewhere was probably disappointed. Don’t fret though, as Valhalla confirmed that they would in fact retain the rights to the IP and have big plans for the future. Here is the official word from CEO Satoshi Kanematsu

In addition to the expected platform releases on Xbox 360 and PS3, Devil’s Third will be coming to PC and unspecified digital devices. And in an attempt to expand the property into a “blockbuster franchise”, they plan to bring IP into other media like manga, novels, animation, and film. It should make for an interesting push, if not an interesting game.
