VGV/Top 10 Suggestion Post

Rayman 2 for the Dreamcast. One of the best 3D platformers.

VGV suggestion: Snow Bros. I used to play it when I was about 7 years old (which is 8 years ago) and when I let the cutscene at the beginning play, I was completely disturbed by everything (shut up I was only 7). Also it might seem like a ripoff of Bubble Bobble but I want to see your opinions on it.

Another vgv suggestion would be Wario's Woods for the NES. I know that it came out on the SNES, but the NES version is more notable since it was the last official NES game made back in 1994. Everyone talks about the NES's early games, but no one talks about the consoles last bunch of games. Plus it's a great hidden puzzle game with 2 player and bosses if you play Game B. Wario's Woods was also the only NES game that had Wario in it.

Man you're gonna hate me but I realise I did not give you a reason for my choices (I'll check next time sorry). Well first of all Sakurai said he will not tell or show anything about the new Smash BEFORE Kid Icarus Uprising is released. Well it is now released and the internet is filled with made up rosters for the game. I for one cannot wait to know who's in the game. There's been some leaked images suggesting Riddley from Metroid and the Slime from Dragn Quest but we don't know for sure if they are legit. They said the roster should include 50 characters so 15 new ones. If it's true a top ten from you guys would be great. I don't know for sure who's gonna be in it but my suggestions are as follows:

Isaac (Golden Sun) He was an assist in Brawl and could use his sword, magic and psychic powers Riddley (Metroid): A big flying character kinda like Charizard. King K Rool (Donkey Kong): Maybe he could use little crocodiles and canons. Little Mac (Punch Out): Since he was a Assist in Brawl. Could be a great short range and fast character. Krystal (Star Fox Adventure): She could fight like fox in Starfox Adventure with the staff and the magics. Bowser Jr (Mario): I see him as a mix between mario and bowser. He could use a stomp attack and breathe fire and morph into shadow mario using maybe some of mario's moves and the paint brush from mario sunshine.

For the possible third party characters I would very much like to see Megaman from Capcom and either Geno, Sora or Cloud from Square. While I think Geno, Sora and Cloud would make great characters I don't really have any moves suggestions because anyway they do it, i'm fine with it. These characters have a lot of cool moves. For Megaman though, I think the greatest moveset would be : B for megabuster (and charge), B DOWN for the slide, B UP for either Rush Coil or Jet OR the Shoryuken from Street Fighter (he could use it in Megaman 7, X2 and MVC2) and MOST importantly: B FOWARD to steal someone's power (or maybe kill someone to get his power and THEN it's B FOWARD to use it) I know everybody wants him to get in the Smash series but IF it happens I think he HAS to be able to steal powers, it's his trademark. I don't want him to play like in MCV2. And yeah he'll be similar to kirby but if he uses B FOWARD he'll steal a different move. For exemple if Kirby swallows Fox, he gets his gun. But if Megaman steals his power, he gets the Fox Illusion. I think it would add a lot of diversity to the game. And as kirby gets a new hat when stealing powers, Megaman could change colors like in his series. Eating mario would make him red, luigi would make him green and so on.

Do you even realise that Kirby Super Star is NOT in the vault ? Also how about a top ten best OR worst (or both) Final Fantasy Characters ? There's a lot of cool and crappy ones in there! On a funnier note, it could be nice to see a top ten quotes from video game characters. The first one that comes to mind for me is either " Do a barrel roll " or " You've got an enemy on your tail " (Y'all know what I'm talking about).

Maybe the beat way to say it all is: Do more top tens !

Kirby's Dream Course for the SNES should be added to the Video Game Vault. WHY you ask? Because, it's one the best damn golf games to ever come out! That's why! Seriously, I had so much fun playing this game as a kid. Granted, the only reason I picked this game up was because I thought it was a regular Kirby game, but man, after playing it for a while, I didn't even care. Over 100 holes, a versus mode, some neat power ups, a name entry that lets you DRAW your name into a little box, and even a crappy (I mean, AWESOME) boss battle. What more could you ask for? Top 10 Fighters. No, not fighting games, fighters FROM fighting games. Any fighting game has to be good, not crap, also the character doesn't need to not look cool, but cool to play as. It could be from "Street Fighter", "Mortal Kombat", "Soul Calibur", any fighting game, that is GOOD, has to have a memorable character.
