A Virtua Fighter in Dead or Alive 5?!
With Street Fighter X Tekken officially releasing today it seems that Sega and Tecmo are trying to throw their hats in the fighting crossover ring. Virtua Fighter's own Akira Yuki will join the cast of Dead or Alive 5 which is set to be released later this year for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. So what do you g1s think about this latest fighting game crossover?
Heck, anything is possible in fighting games. ....or at least I hope (MK vs SF).
this would be a smart move for both fighters especially for the virtua fighter crew since they pretty much fell off the grid
Looking past the boobs, DOA has a great character roster. Looking past the lack of in-game story, Virtua Fighter's fighting engine is legendary. This should be fun, will gladly play as Jacky (has Bruce Lee's style) and Jann Lee (Bruce Lee Clone) together.
Interesting concept, but you have to wonder if both series has the "star power" to carry this idea beyond a Akira Yuki's guest appearance in this game.
In any case, I'll be looking forward to this game when it arrives.
As amazing as Kasumi looks (and the twins) I was actually concentrated on something else in a Dead or Alive game for once.
The stage background, it looked pretty intense!
Bring it on!
OH MAH GAWD!!!!!!!
I do love virtual fighter, but I am a hardcore DoA fan. So just seeing how well the game looks is enough for me to like this crossover...even if it seens rather unnecessary.
I'm conflicted. I really like the VF series, but I dislike the DoA series.
This is actually a pretty smart crossover. Both fighting styles are based on physical combat (no projectiles) with similar arena work.
Might be cool.
I like Dead or Alive A LOT MORE than Virtua Fighter, but that isn't saying much since I've played one slightly more than the other.
I always tend to do worse in Vitura Fighter than Dead or Alive
Sorry about that. For some strange reason everything deleted when I clicked save.
