VVVVVV getting a mainstream release on the 3DS
Developer Terry Cavanagh and his publishing partner Nicalis have revealed that their smash PC indie hit, VVVVVV (is that enough Vs?) will be getting a mainstream release on the Nintendo 3DS via the eShop.
VVVVVV is about a character named Captain Viridian, who must explore a variety of 2D Metroid style maps to find the missing members of his crew and he has the unique ability to switch between walking on the floor and walking on the ceiling.
How does Cavanagh feel about this? Well, he couldn’t be happier.
This new version will feature 3D visuals, new levels, 20 collectibles, a map on the bottom screen, and other updates to be added later.
Are any of you fans of the original interested in downloading it to your 3DS? Are any of you who haven’t played the original interested in giving it a try?

Hell yes! Already bought it twice and will gladly buy it again! Unless "3D visuals" means some 2.5D crap...

this is probably my favorite game ever.

Can't tell whether that's 6 Vs or 3 Ws.

I'll get this. They should incorporated the gyro scope to where when you turn it upside down you fall to the ceiling... wait no that would be stupid.

I'd buy/play it. I thought Cave Story worked out great on the DS, so I see no problem with VVVVVV working out well too.

Awesome, vvvvvv was one of my favorite games of 2010. More so than anything else announced or released so far on 3DS, I want to play this. I might get a 3DS after all, maybe when the inevitable remodel comes out

I LOVED vvvvvv on the pc, one of my top ten favorite games, but I guess I'll get it for the 3ds because of the extra levels. It won't be on the top of my list for 3ds games to buy, though.
