The Walking Dead Episodes 1 & 2 comes free on PS+

There are a number of discounts coming with PSN’s summer 2012 PLAY promotion if you are a Playstation Plus member. Discounts aren’t all you should expect though. It was revealed today that on August 7th Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Episodes 1& 2 will be added to your Instant Game Collection.

So you get $10 worth of added value to that collection for the cost of a subscription. Now that’s a damn good deal considering the cost of Playstation Plus is less than $4 per month for annual subscribers. Any new g1s going to take the plunge?

Playstation plus is a pretty good deal in my opinion. I don't have it, but I'm more of a PC gamer. I only use my ps3 for exclusives and some games that run better on consoles.

So If I pay 17 bucks for a subscription, I can get all this plus all those free games like infamous 2 and LBP? Or is there a limit of how many games you can download?

The limit is how much space your PS3 can carry. The free games are also only playable as long as your a Plus member

From what I've heard about PS+, yes once you unsub any game Sony gave away for free now has to be paid in order to play but anything you bought on discount and everything else that was free is still useable.
