The Walking Dead pre-Season Two content might arrive in the near future

During an interview with IGN, Gary Whitta teases its a strong possibility Telltale Games will release more The Walking Dead content soon before Season Two is scheduled to arrive.

Whitta, who is the main writer for the game, states this would be due to the really high demand by the fans for more content and being large enough to make no sense for Telltale Games to ignore.

“You won’t have to wait for season two to play more Walking Dead,” Whitta told IGN’s Greg Miller. “Knowing that it’s [season 2] a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead … There may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two,” said Whitta. “We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.”

The content or chapters would not reveal anything planned for Season Two although would act either as a prequel to the events of the second season or as a bridge linking the ending of Season One to the upcoming new season.

I wonder if they're going to use this little extra thing to set up a new main character or let us play as Clem.

I think I know what's going to happen. The game starts out black. We hear a moan. It's not that of a walker, but of someone in pain. The screen becomes white and the camera shifts to Lee's face as his eyes slowly open. He looks down at the floor next to him and sees a carton of juice. He grabs it and examines it. "Orange Juice?" he says confused. He looks around the room, Clementine is nowhere in sight. "Clem?" he call out weakly. A shadow next to him moves, catching his attention. Lee quites down as he makes out the head of a Walker turning to his directions.

Either too weak to move or still handcuffed, Lee can't get move away as the Walker lumbers near. "This is it?" he whispers, the Walker a good 4 feet away. It hears him and walk towards him, looming over the helpless Lee. Then a hand burst throw the Walkers chest and rips it's spine right out, the Walker falls down paralyzed. "Who are you?" Lee asks, to weak to make out his hero's face, "Frank West, there's no time to explain but there's a safe house not to far from here, I can get you there no problem...I covered wars you know."
