The Wii U Port of Ninja Gaiden 3 will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3

2/8/13 11:02am

Well this didn't take long... After a mere two months of the release on the Wii U as a launch title. Tecmo KOEI has announced Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge will be coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in April.

The original game will released in North America April 2nd, April 4th, in Japan and April 5th in Europe. Although expected to be full price, the port of a port (see what I did their?) will have all the DLC  on disc,  including any and all available DLC to download on the Wii U version. That is pretty sweet!

What are the g1s thoughts on a Xbox 360 and PS3 port of Razor's Edge out so soon?

While this does stink for WiiU owners, at least this gives me a sooner chance to play it.....

Oh, Nintendo. You and your 3rd party exclusives need to work on this whole "exclusivity" thing.

LOLNOPE. Nintendo paid for exclusivity, and they intend to keep it.

Except that Bayonetta 2 is not a 3rd party title. It's a 2nd party title, because Nintendo is publishing it. I think Nintendo would have to agree to let someone else publish it, and I can't see that happening.

Not happy that Nintendo's losing a strong exclusive, but at least Nintendo got it first. Hopefully the Wii U version will get the extras via DLC.

I'm not against the practice of releasing on one system first and using it to gauge interest from the other systems. This is a good practice if you have confidence in your game... I'm looking DIRECTLY at you, Ubisoft, you lying cretins!

And that's what people are more outraged about, not that Rayman Legends is going multiplatform, but that they're basically delaying the Wii U release as well. To a GTA 5 timeslot even!

I can't blame people for canceling their pre-orders. I'd do that too if it means I could buy GTA 5 (if I was interested that is).

Right. I'd get over an exclusive going multiplatform, but over all the hell the developers have gone through and the hell that the gamers are going through? Garbage. Complete and utter garbage. I don't know if even EA or Capcom are /this/ stupid. Stupider in general? Sure. Do things /this/ stupid? Debatable.
