The Wii U's online details has been revealed by EA

10/23/12 1:00pm

Nintendo Wii U's online interface was reavealed by EA and the friend codes will be replaced by Nintendo Network ID, but that's all EA has to say. They also said that when setting up Origin account on Wii U, the information from NNID will be there. This includes information such as an email address, friends list, country, language, and date of birth. But the credit card and finanical information will not be in the Origin account.

Finally, Nintendo is taking the right steps! The only thing missing is Steam service on Wii U. What do you guys think?

It's about damn time they mention something about their online system...

It's kind of funny and sad that it took a different company to mention it though.

If you played any EA sports game or Battlefield online you already have an origin id. It's how online worked for EA's other titles on the PS3/360/PC, just a simple log in process to insure your copy of the game is legit.
