Wii Virtual Console saves won't work on Wii U's Virtual Console

Wii U's Virtual Console will roll out this spring, and you probably already know about Nintendo requiring gamers to re-buy games if they want to play them on the Wii U. (The only workaround is launching the Wii's emulator thing and playing the games there, but you won't get to play on the Game Pad.)
There's a bit more bad news, I'm afraid. If you re-buy a game to play on the Wii U, then you also lose your save. This isn't the end of the world for some games, but let's just say I'm glad I never got Super Mario RPG or anything on the Wii...

I don't see the big deal. I'm just going to play my VC games on my wii and buy the newer ones on the Wii U. Kinda how I saved my GBA when I bought a DS. I saved the GBA for GB and GBC games,

I don't see what the problem is here. You pretty much get to play a new game for a buck. If you care that much for the game and the save file then just play it on the Wii, it's not a big deal.
