Will Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101 Still be Wii-U Exclusives?
The announcement that Rayman Legends and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge are getting a multi console release has made Wii-U owners nervous. So nervous in fact that Platinum games has been getting hammered with questions about their upcoming titles The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2. Platinum Games Designer Hideki Kamiya informed everyone that since Nintendo is Producing the games and footing the bill exclusivity is entirely up to them. He then left us with the following quote:
Well, you heard 'em it seems the Wii-U will have at least 2 big name exclusive 3rd party titles. Are Platinum games upcoming titles worth you picking up a Wii-U?

Alright, this is starting to annoy me. I got a notification about this blog post, today. This was written nearly a month ago.
I love you guys at SA but if you can fix the broken notification system, I would be really happy.

At this point, you really don't know if these games will truly remain to be exclusives.... : /

I'm not really sure if this game is one of those that will make people want to buy a WiiU.

which one Wonderful101 or Bayonetta 2?

Bayonetta 2 will never go multi platform. Especially since the game is being FUNDED by Nintendo.

Just like how the original Mass Effect was produced by Microsoft and would never come out on anything other then for Windows or Xbox. Oh wait, it has....

EDIT: Never mind

didn't read the article did you, this is different from that

how is that different? If Platinum Games was bought up by Konami or some other publisher it could be the exact same thing. Microsoft funded the making of Mass Effect (that's what publishers do) just in the same way Nintendo is publishing this. That means they have the final say, but I was just pointing out that a game in recent memory has come out on a different system not made by the publisher. And that was within the same console generation no less! So you can't say never. In that same way back in the early 90s I would never believe that I could play Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 and 3 on a Nintendo console. Now I can.

Microsoft didn't fund Mass Effect, Nintendo is 100% funding this.
