Will the Playstation 4 be announced in May?

It seems that the PlayStation 4 might be announced this year after all. Neogaf has in fact picked up an interesting statement from Sony Home Entertainment boss Hiroshi Sakamoto, who says that we can expect a major PlayStation advertisement in May or June. He said this in an interview with Spanish site Emol.com.
Should we believe the translation from Google Translate? If Sakamoto's PlayStation department is working hard on a surprise, that is some great advertising.

Just read through the interview, and don't worry, in this case you can trust Google Translate for a change: When he was asked about a new console, he said that it was still a big secret, but also that they're preparing for an announcement (and that it's "probably" a big one) either at E3 or in May.

well it does says that they will announce something at E3 or in may (Im chilean, so i can confirm that google translate isnt wrong)

Maybe the announcement will be that the anti piracy software we've been reading about is going to be installed in the new PS3 patch. :P

Was it a question that the PS4 would be announced this year, I hope not. But either way I wouldn't put to much belief into this rumour, we'll just have to wait and see.
